Move-out day is stressful enough without staring down a security deposit. We do move-out cleans across Maitland, Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Baldwin Park, Winter Springs, and Downtown — and over time we’ve built a checklist that consistently gets renters their full deposit back. Here it is, room by room.
Kitchen. Empty and wipe inside all cabinets and drawers. Pull the fridge and stove forward to clean behind. Degrease the range hood and clean inside the oven. Run an empty dishwasher cycle with vinegar to descale.
Bathrooms. Scrub grout, descale showerheads and faucets, polish mirrors, and bleach any silicone seals. Wipe inside the medicine cabinet and vanity. Don’t forget the exhaust fan cover.
Bedrooms and living areas. Spot clean walls and patch any nail or anchor holes. Wipe baseboards, window sills, blinds, and ceiling fan blades. Vacuum carpet edges where dust hides.
Whole-home finishing pass. Light fixtures, vents, switch plates, door tops, and the inside of the front door. These are the spots a leasing agent will actively check.
